Blue Chip was lengthened 7 feet, added a bulbous bow, replaced old wooden house with a new fiberglass house, new cambered aft and fore decks and raised decking, repaired and lengthened guards and railings, new aluminum framed windows and door, fish-hold, new shaft log and a new paint job.
