Karen Jeanne was lengthened 8 feet and re-powered with a Cummins QSL9.0-M EPA Tier 3 engine (286 HP). In the process we remove the mast and rigging, disconnect exhaust, piping and wiring, fabricated and install new engine rails, removed old engine through fish-hold, remove forward fish-hold bulkhead, rework fish-hold and fish-hold plumbing, cleaned up and repainted engine room, painted bilge area, installed the new engine in vessel, align and bolt down engine, install new fuel system, hook up the electrical system, instrument panel, engine controls, existing prop shaft, existing hydraulic system, existing exhaust, install new Fernstrum keel cooler and added a pipe guard to starboard side roll chalk.
