Little Hoquiam Shipyard (LHSY) was established in 1971 by Howard Moe in Hoquiam, Washington next to the Little Hoquiam River.  Howard grew up working on boats as a teenager and helped his father (a fisherman) build a fishing boat out on the coast of Washington in Bay Center.  Howards passion and pride for building boats drove him to design and build some of the finest vessels on the west coast and has continued for over 50 years and continues today.
